Like It Was Only Yesterday Her memories seemed elusive at times... But the very best ones truly felt like they happened only yesterday. Or maybe the day before.
Old New FriendsPortland, OR She took a deep breath as she unsnapped the lock on her great, great grandmother's old suitcase. Who knew what lay inside? She lifted the lid gently, carefully. Her eyes widened in surprise when she saw the old photo lying on top. So the place WAS real. She hadn't been sure. If You Were The Road If you were the road, what would you see? What you would feel? Would you feel less than everyone around you because you were so flat and low... and because they grew taller and taller and you didn't? Or greater than all 'o them, because you were so dang long? If you were a road, what would you think about? (You'd have alot of time on your hands. Er, lines.) Who would be the King of You? How long does it take a chicken to cross you? I was just wondering.
The Fateful Finger of FogIt crept in the morning, the fateful finger of fog. Breathing upon, touching, altering all in its path. Was it frightening or enlightening? None could ever say.
