The Crowning GloryFelton, CA What can I say? It's just the name that occurred to me when I looked up and saw this at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in Felton, CA last week. The combo of fall maples and ancient redwoods was so stunning, everywhere I looked. But this arrangement was just so... crowning! I wandered around in there for hours and hours on a rainy day, with the misty, muted light and glisteny surfaces everywhere. And the fresh, earthy, woodsy aroma... ahhhhhh. Maybe you'll take a moment to take it all in today. Take a breath. Have a moment. Let me know how that goes. :))

Mists of Another WorldBig Sur, CA Inspiration began to pour forth, like a waking dream; but it was real this time. Happening right before her. Her heart picked up its pace in anticipation. Could this finally be it? New time, the era she'd been waiting for? The light at the end of an impossibly long tunnel seemed to be racing toward her now... and a new world began to open, gently, in all its true living life and color, through a gossamer mist of possibility.
Breathe In, Stir & Swirl Keyhole Arch, Big Sur, CA So many wonderful, new things were coming her way... Flowing in and filling in nooks and crannies she didn't even know she had. It was exciting, watching a form take shape where there had been none before. She took a big breath in, mentally stirring the simmerpot of her own consciousness. She loved the swirls that happened when she did that.
