Glen Canyon. Damn
Sometimes, when she squinted her eyes just a little...
She could make herself believe she'd just landed on a new world
Far, far away.
Tahoe Blues
Lake Tahoe is known for its blues of many hues. In fact "Keep Tahoe Blue" is one of the big catch phrases (and bumper stickers) used in reference to efforts being made to clean it up and no longer pollute its pristine waters. It's working too... and its mile deepness may yet live to delight generations to come. Yay!
She Dreamt of Moments Just Like This

When The Heavens Smiled DownUtah

Just Heaven and Earth having a friendly chat.
There may have been a secret or two exchanged.
And a possible beaming. Not 100% sure about that last part.
Just a suspicion or two. Wink.
At The Edge of the World Martis Peak, Truckee, CA

"There's a crack in the world", she thought out loud.
It seems beautiful, or dangerous - depending on how you look at it.
She decided it could well be both, and to pay close attention from now on.
May Blessings Shine Down Upon YouGlen Canyon, Utah

It seemed everywhere she went that day,
Signs that even she couldn't miss abounded;
Reminding her that she was, indeed blessed.
And there was really nothing more to do about it than be grateful.
Which indeed, she was.
Open Arms Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe CA

Like the conductor of ethers,
He opened his arms and let the colors flow.
Delta Life Central Valley, California
I trekked one day tdown the great Central Valley of California, through part of the famed Delta... a web of waterways spread amongst California's vast farmlands. They call it an 'inverted river delta', one of only a few in the world.

This journey took awhile, as any road trip does where you simply must stop every couple of miles to take a shot! This one was late in the day... and while I'd hoped for a bit more direct sun action..the clouds were big, expansive and looked mighty fine reflected back one of the delta's myriad of canals.
