Tree of Thrive
This is one of several shots I was asked to do for a book cover. It's a book about Thriving. I think this one has become personal icon for Thrive. Every time I look at it, I'm reminded to follow my muse... the light... that 'spark of divine inspiration'- that guides my life to its inspired happiest, funnest, most fulfilled ... most THRIVING version of itself. Whatever that brings. Don't think... just leap.

May you Chica-Chica-Boom-Chic and Prosper

Two things made me press the shutter.
One was that I loved the patterns, textures and the jaunty rake of paprika red cutting a confident swath through a sea of green (in equal parts of the whole, thus still technically counting as one reason)... the other that I instantly had a mental movie of Carmen Miranda bobbing, sashaying and singing her little heart out through the garden in vintage CarmenGlam. I nearly joined her.. and indeed often do in public places. Something to keep in mind should we ever hang or photowalk together.

I was then torn about whether to name the photo of them "Carmen Miranda on a Stick" or "Carmen Miranda is in my Garden". But the latter felt somehow more homagenous (yes I make up words of whimsy as I wish).

Thus I present... this homage to dear Our Carmen of the Berry Hat.

The Morning Light
