What can I say?
It's just the name that occurred to me when I looked up and saw this at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in Felton, CA last week.
The combo of fall maples and ancient redwoods was so stunning, everywhere I looked. But this arrangement was just so... crowning!
I wandered around in there for hours and hours on a rainy day, with the misty, muted light and glisteny surfaces everywhere. And the fresh, earthy, woodsy aroma... ahhhhhh.
Maybe you'll take a moment to take it all in today. Take a breath. Have a moment.
Let me know how that goes. :))
Peeking out from behind the curtain.
Is one way to be there.
And yet not.
Water, snow and destiny partner up to create their own map, blaze their own trails.
I watch and learn.
